For Ghanaian men who have a high sense of beauty, barbershops are an important place to "dress up" and socialize, but it is difficult to recognize their status as a profession.
In addition, in Ghana, 80% of the population belongs to the informal sector (so-called day laborers), and the high unemployment rate, especially among young people, has become a problem in recent years.
I want to create educational opportunities and employment through barber training.
With that in mind, MR. BROTHERS CUT CLUB @mr.brothers_cutclub and NPO CLOUDY @npo_cloudy has formed a partnership to open the “CLOUDY x MR. BROTHERS CUT CLUB” BARBER ACADEMY in Accra, the capital of Ghana, in 2023.
To make barber culture take root as a universal existence and contribute to its further development. In the future, we aim to imagine a future that will lead to solving the problem of youth unemployment in Ghana, such as providing support for starting businesses for graduates and providing opportunities to work overseas.
We hope that you will join us in creating a barber culture in Ghana, as well as youth education and employment.
